A true Aussie original, Violet Crumble has been shattering expectations since 1913.

Created in Melbourne by Abel Hoadley, it was named after his wife’s favorite flower, the violet, and went on to become one of Australia’s most iconic candy bars.

From the very first bite, Violet Crumble stood apart. Not smooth. Not soft. But loud, crisp, and completely unforgettable.

At its heart is the signature candy honeycomb center, light, airy, and built to break. It’s what made Violet Crumble famous then, and what keeps fans coming back now.

Because as we like to say: It’s the way it shatters that matters!

What began as a single bar has grown into a full range of irresistible treats, including Violet Crumble Cubes and bars in both standard and king size.

A Classic, Reclaimed

Over the years, Violet Crumble traveled the world and
changed hands a few times including a chapter with Nestlé. It even made its way into the United States through specialty channels back in the 1960s.

 

But for a while, finding one wasn’t always easy.

 

That changed in 2018, when our family-owned company returned Violet Crumble back to Australian ownership restoring it as Australia’s Violet Crumble and reigniting everything people loved about it.

 

Same iconic bite.

Same unmistakable shatter.

Now with a bold new future.

Violet Crumble Hits the US

In 2019, we officially brought the shatter stateside, with our first shipment
landing in Los Angeles.


By 2020, Robern Menz USA was up and running, on a mission to introduce America to a candy experience unlike anything else.

 

More than 100 years later, Violet Crumble is still doing things its own way.


It’s bold.

It’s nostalgic.

It shatters.

And now, it’s winning over a whole new generation of
candy lovers across the United States.
